Anne lives in Crown Point, IN and has been practicing portraiture for over 40 years. She and her husband Chris attended John Herron School of Art, IUPUI. They have five children and one granddaughter. She was a stay at home mother for fifteen years and then worked for REAL Services in South Bend, The Presbyterian Foundation (U.S.A.) in Jeffersonville, IN and was Marketing Coordinator for Grace Lutheran School in Chicago, IL. For ten years, she worked full-time as a portrait artist throughout the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana area. In 2012 Anne lost her 59 year old best friend and sister to a brain tumor in March, her 86 yr. old mother on May 8th, and her husband of 33 years died unexpectedly on their son’s wedding day, May 19th. These three deaths catapulted Anne into grief that was overwhelming, but with God’s grace, an idea was born to provide portraits to grieving individuals to help them cope with the bereavement process. She now utilizes many of the skills learned through her education and employment opportunities to give gifts of love to those who are grieving.
